  • Massage treatments - I am unsure what treatment I require.
    No problem. Get in touch and I can guide you to the best treatment for you. You can get an idea of the different massage treatments under my Therapies page to give you an overview of each treatment.
  • Massage treatments - what should I wear?
    I only expose the areas we need to work on and leave the rest covered with a towel. The most important thing is make sure you wear something you can relax in, if you are only having your top half massaged, such as a neck and shoulder massage, make sure you are wearing sensible and relaxing bottoms such as loose trousers rather than tight fitting jeans. If you are having your lower half massaged also, please bring some loose shorts to change into. We would like to remind potential clients that I have a strict policy that underpants or underwear MUST be worn for all massages. I do not massage the groin area. This is for your security and mine. I am a professional massage therapist.
  • Massage treatments - should I expect results immediately?
    This will depend on a few things such as your ailments, the treatments for the condition, how severe the pain is etc. Some people walk away from a single massage therapy session feeling immediate relief, others have felt a physical improvement from their massage session the next day or a few days later, and some have required a series of regularly scheduled massage therapy sessions in order to notice significant improvements. It is important to remember that some conditions may be induced by work, sleep or exercise and regular activities mean regular appointments will be beneficial. Just remember to talk to your me about your expectations and I can guide you through the process.
  • Massage Treatments - When can you not massage me?
    If you have any ailments, it is always important to get in touch before booking with me. For example, I can not treat you if you are currently having Cancer treatments or if you are pregnant.
  • Feathers Holistic Centre - is there parking at the centre?
    Yes! There is loads of parking spaces available. Plus parking is FREE of charge to anyone using the centre.
  • Feathers Holistic Centre - what other facilities are there?
    Feathers is full equipped with toilets and changing facilities, beautiful gardens to relax in before or after our treatment, a glass of water from our kitchen can be given if needed and the centre is wheel chair accessible.
  • Feathers Holistic Centre - how to get there?
    You can walk, bike, or drive by car with a free car park on site. Feathers is really easy to get to, take the B1525 from either side of the A1175 and follow until you get to the Hards Lane turning at Frognall. Feathers is just round the first corner on Hards Lane.   • Online Bookings - Cancellations
    Clients are expected to attend each scheduled session on time. A cancelled or delayed appointment delays appropriate treatment and can negatively impact other clients. Since your appointments involve the reservation of time specifically for you, and out of respect for your therapist and my other clients, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or canceling an appointment and any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. More than 24-hour notice would be appreciated when possible, as I can then make that time available to other clients. A late cancel or no-show appointment hurts at least three people: you, me - your therapist, and another client who could have potentially utilized your time slot. Thank you for your understanding If you want to cancel your online booking with at least 24 hours notice, you can do this by simply logging in to your account via this website.
  • Online Bookings - how to reschedule my booking.
    If you booked online, you can reschedule your booking by logging in to your account on this website (top right of page). Note: you will not be able to reschedule if your booking is within 24 hours before your booking start time.
